Zsiri was an artist-in-residence at Taiwan's Yingge Ceramics Museum in 2015. She came to Zhunan Snake Kiln as part of the filming for a Hak Idea episode, and vowed then to come back for a residency. The following year, in the summer of 2016, the Hungarian potter came back to Taiwan for a 2-month residency at Zhunan Snake Kiln. Aside from using the traditional snake kiln to produce her works and learning exclusive high temperature wood-firing techniques, she also built a bridge of artistic and cultural exchange between the two countries. Zsiri's unique style of art is fascinating: her method involves injecting ceramic slurry into a sponge before firing, which when combined with natural wood-firing produces distinctive textures and colors. She also held the Conscious Consciousness solo exhibition to display the fruits of her creative labor born over the residency at Zhunan Snake Kiln, part of her long-term experimentation with different mediums.
